BSA Troop # 13

Welcome to Troop 13 Montclair!

About Troop 13

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 13 from Montclair, New Jersey! Troop 13 was founded in 1911, and has been operating continuously for more than 100 years. The troop meets every week at Union Congregational Church in Upper Montclair, but is open to all boys age 11 and up—you do not need to be a member of the church. We are a very active troop, with about 50 boys participating currently in all ranks in the troop, from Scout to Eagle, and a dedicated, involved group of parents. We take part in all sorts of fun and exciting activities. The troop goes camping every month—rain, snow or sunshine! We also go hiking, skiing, canoeing, work on leadership skills, participate in Merit Badge Fairs and do many community service projects.

If you are not a member and would like to learn more about Troop 13, please think about attending one of our meetings! We meet every Monday (except for school holidays) at 7:30 p.m., in the basement at Union Cong, 176 Cooper Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043. And if you have any questions about the troop, please click on the Contact Us heading on the left and fill out the form. We will respond to you via email.
